MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
A 1:1000 Bandai Yamato, weathered, detail painted, and decaled. Custom LED lighting and wiring throughout to replace Bandai’s standard LED units. Kit modified to add lit elements, including custom windows added using UV resin. Lighting effects and animations running off of Arduino code on an Adafruit trinket. Main gun has a slow pulse animation, and the rear booster and twin boosters pulse independently of each other to give the impression of flight. Base is a kitbash of the included base and the Bandai action base 8.
