MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
– Hobbyboss BT-2 upgraded with Aber DT machine gun barrels and Masterclub metal tracks.
– I painted the model with AMMO’s new ATOM paints and weathered with washes and light chipping. The dust was built up in numerous layers of oil paint and airbrushed Tamiya paint.
– I painted the model to represent a vehicle during the Soviet invasion of Poland, 1939. I found some interesting photos of these vehicles in a halftrack configuration, making hybrid use of the BT’s fully-tracked and wheeled driving/steering modes. So, of course I had to model such an odd and unique vehicle!
