This diorama resembles the iconic scene from the second episode of the movie series, where the pilot of EVA Unit-01 is enraged, climbs, and steps on top of the organization’s headquarters, threatening to destroy it.
There are a lot of seamlines to fill for this kit, and also a lot of masking while painting.
The headquarter (the pyramid building) was created with a 3d-printed inner support frame (which I modeled and printed myself) and 4 exterior walls made of 2mm styrene sheets. The top of the building was made of a lot of small square tiles to mimic the damaged building material.
