Monogram P-39 Airacobra finished in markings of an aircraft from the 31st Pursuit squadron which participated in Southern Maneuvers (a type of mock air combat) in the fall of 1941 prior to U.S. involvement in WWII. This aircraft wore white crosses indicating it was with the White Army.
Built mostly out of box with the following exceptions – these aircraft carried no nose armament, presumably to reduce weight and improve performance, so nose armament was deleted from model, gun breeches were removed from instrument panel to reflect this.
