Originally a 1957 Plymouth Fury, I converted the Christine kit into a 1957 DeSoto FireFlite. Custom ‘FireFlite’ and ‘DESOTO’ decals. Scratch built; rims, front fenders, trim, tailfins, rear end. Donor DeSoto engine from Lil Coffen kit. AMT parts pack grille, truck tail lights, 64′ impala rear bumper. Opened & hinged trunk, doors, and hood. Battery wires, plumbed engine bay. Mini magnets on the door and trunk for a “click-fit”, custom automotive paint to match the accurate real colour of the car. Posable steering. Lady figure in the passenger seat.
