MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
A mixture of the AMT Corvair and Revell Camaro both 1969s. Both interiors were cut up and the Camaro seats and door panels were fitted in the Corvair interior. Photo-etched belts; Best model parts instrument faces. The Camaro chassis was trimmed in length and width to fit but the wheelbase was the same. The stripes were from the Camaro kit as were the wheels. Tires from the recent AMT 1969 Ford. Paint is Tamiya Bright Red over their pink primer. The front air dam is from the Camaro and nicely mirrors the one on the trunk lid. The flairs were in a parts box.
