MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
I wanted to do something different than the normal grey on grey livery for this Viper. I was inspired by the schemes of the AH-1G Cobras that Marine Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 (HMA-367) used during their time in Vietnam from approximately 1969-1971 with the large snake’s head painted on the front of the aircraft. I was also inspired by the great paint work that is being done on current aircraft, particularly by a woman named Shayne Meder, who does custom paintwork on many U.S. Marine, Navy, and Air Force aircraft.
