MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
Trumpeter 1:48 Sikorsky CH-34 converted to S-58 in the livery of an Ontario Hydro machine. The aircraft was used for stringing cable , lifting towers and poles and delivering other equipment including lowering workers onto electric transmission structures in otherwise inaccessible locations! Some were later converted to the Pratt and Whitney Canada Turbine twin-pac engines.
The model was painted with Tamiya red and White and decals were custom made. Pictures and information provided by an Ontario Hydro pilot familiar with this aircraft helped in representing the subject accurately.
