MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
AMT 1950 Chevrolet 1300 pickup truck converted to GMC 9300 with Havoc Model Design kit and presented in the livery of the Ontario Lands and Forests with home made decals and Havoc Model Design 16’ Chestnut wooden rib and plank canoe. The model is based on a truck restored and displayed at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre in Sault Ste. Marie. The canoe as well is displayed there although not mounted on the truck.
Painted with Tamiya Royal Blue and custom decals and cabin headliner. The conversion involved a new grille frame and grille, tailgate, hood badging, bush guards and more.
