MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
Project was started over 30 years ago, then restarted just recently. The original primer was stripped and the body prepped to start over again. The window moldings were removed to reproduce flush mounted glass and the body seams were filled. Fresh primer was applied, followed by 3 coats of black base, then 3 coats of gunmetal, followed by 3 coats of candy red, topped off with several coats of clear. Then polished to achieve a reflective finish. A detailed turbo V6 and drive train hide beneath the bodywork. Accented by a detailed interior, wheel and tire package and a lowered ride height.
