Converted to Corsair Mk 2 by clipping the wings and adding scoops on side and bottom of fuselage to extract build up of gasoline fumes in cockpit.
Plane flown by Donald John “Don” Sheppard, the only FAA Corsair ace of WW2 & the first of 2 Canadian Navy ace of WW2.
