MODEL KIT(s) AND TECHNIQUES USED:
SCRATCHBUILT. Except for the wheels and tires! Underslung frame, suspension, axles, linkages are polished brass. All fuel, air and coolant lines installed. Throttle and clutch linkage installed. Engine block is styrene, but intake and exhaust are brass/aluminum.
Body is styrene with 1,076 rivets (and 16 broken drill bits). Front brakes are hydraulic and rear brakes are cable/lever operated.
A team of four cars only competed in one race, the 1923 French G.P., and this one came in 3rd. Bugatti was not pleased.
This model took one year to build. Detailed photos are nearly nonexistent.
